HIFU AND SONIC CONCEPTS

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) (also called FUS or HIFUS) therapy is widely used across the biomedical and biological fields to provide an acoustic means of treatment. Using HIFU, ultrasound beams focus acoustic energy at a desired target tissue or medium. Sonic Concepts offers reliable HIFU transducer and system design and manufacturing. Sonic Concepts, a leader in HIFU technology, has designed a variety of HIFU transducers providing different frequencies, intensities, and focal lengths to meet the customer's application requirements. Typical applications of Sonic Concepts' HIFU transducers include thermal tissue ablation, cavitation, remote palpation, histotripsy, drug activation, and numerous other biomedical treatments.
