New User Interface Features in PiezoCAD Release 3.0 for Windows
- Windows-based graphical user interface (GUI), featuring pull-down menus.

- Toolbar functions include New, File Open, Save, Copy to Windows Clipboard, Print Graph, and Print Report.
- Instant recalculation (typically less than 1 second to compute 100 frequency-domain points) when input parameters are changed.
- Selected output function remains on screen as input parameters and other program settings are changed.
- Pull-down menu to select between linear and log plots or different forms of impedance plots.
- Cursor function includes new Max and Min buttons to quickly find maxima and minima.
- Many user settings are automatically saved to disk each time the user makes a change, such as the selected output function and the form in which it is plotted. When the user re-enters the program, their previous session settings are used to determine which data to display and how to display it.
- The user can change the amplitude, time, or frequency scale limits by clicking on the plot to open a dialog window.
- Larger limits on the number of calculated points, up to 2000 frequency domain points, and up to 8192 time domain points.
- Piezoelectric and acoustic materials data stored in database tables that can also be edited using Microsoft Access.
